| Original Macassar Ebony billet was approx. 8" x 11" x 140" and weighed nearly 600 lbs. It took two men, a small boy, a forklift and a pallet with melamine particle board surface to get it into position to cut several approx. 2" thick boards in preparation for making thinner veneers. |
