P8240002.jpg - Two torsion boxes were constructed from 21mm Baltic Birch ply skins and ribs. Internal ribs were spaced on approximately 10" centers and glued with polyurethane adhesives and screwed to the outer skins. Irregular spacing of some of the ribs was done to accomodate an internal double thickness of ply in certain areas to accomodate mounting brackets and fasteners in a later stage. The need for this step will become more apparent when viewing the final assembly with the legs installed.
