| All components were glued with polyurethane glue, and screwed for extra strength and to hold the components in place while the glue cured. The gap filling properties of the polyurethane helped ensure tight glue joints. After the glue cured, all joints were cleaned up, trimmed with a flush cut router bit, and automotive filler compound applied to fill any minor gaps, fill the countersunk screw holes and fair any minor inconsistencies in shape. |
