| Project for Arthur Porras, ASID and Associates - A table/bench for use in a wine cellar. The end customer is the CEO of a Fortune 500 high tech company based in San Diego. The design called for a contemporary piece, approximately 24" wide, 96" long and 15" tall - and made to appear as if hewn from two solid billets of Macassar Ebony. Macassar Ebony (Diospyros celebica) comes primarily from the East Indonesian islands of Celebes and Sulawesi. |
