Heavy duty steel side rail brackets eliminate racking, yet allow easy assembly without tools. Our sturdy "torsion box" platform provides maximum support for your mattress and eliminates bumpy spots or sagging. Plenty of under-mattress ventilation ports in the platform for ample air circulation.

Our chest offers huge storage in its five roomy drawers, each is 31" wide x 5" high x 15" deep. The back is the same beautifully finished Plyboo, so it can even be used as a room divider.

• Made with Bamboo – Bamboo is the sustainably-harvested raw material used to make the Plyboo™ we use, a solid wood product produced in 4’ x 8’ sheets using immense amounts of pressure and non-formaldehyde, low VOC adhesives. Bamboo is as hard and sturdy as hard maple, yet it literally grows as fast as grass.
• Sturdy Construction – Our tongue and groove joinery makes an incredibly strong joint. But, you can’t see our joints because we go to great lengths to conceal them. This keeps the lines clean and uncluttered without visible fasteners. It also means you don’t get a bunch of cardboard boxes and complicated assembly instructions to put our furniture together - it comes already assembled.
• Hand-Rubbed Oil Finish – Linseed oil is best known as the finish used by the Shakers for their furniture. We use Tried & True Oil™, a natural, non-toxic linseed oil finish made from flax seed using a hundred-year-old formula developed by the Shakers. Tried & True™ is made without the additives, solvents or heavy metal dryers found in most finishes used on mass-produced furniture these days. We hand-rub two coats before we deliver our furniture.
• Premium Quality Full Extension Concealed Drawer Guides – We use only the best drawer guides made by BLUM in Austria, not flimsy plastic, nylon or old-fashioned wood drawer guides. Our drawer guides are whisper quiet, self-closing, very sturdy, and open to full extension, so you can see and reach everything in the back of the drawer without the drawer falling out.
• Dovetailed Hardwood Drawer Boxes – Only solid hardwood with dovetail joinery at the corners provides the proven strength and durability needed to support the heavy loads of a dresser drawer. Our drawer boxes are made from short birch wood off-cuts, which would otherwise have been scrap. By joining these short pieces together, we are able to utilize the scrap rather than waste it.
• Satin Nickel Steel Drawer Handles – Sturdy, elegant and classy are the only words to describe the handles we use. We don't use cheap die-cast pot metal or plastic handles that can break. Our handles are made from solid steel bar, polished and plated to a satin Nickel luster. Our tall chest gets two handles per drawer, not one…because two handles look right, one doesn't.
• Optional Aromatic Cedar Drawer Bottoms – Available as an option on for all chest and dresser drawers, aromatic cedar has been used for hundreds of years as a nontoxic means to protect clothing from insect damage.
• Non-Formaldehyde Adhesives – We use low VOC, non-formaldehyde adhesives. The out-gassing of formaldehyde in many interior construction materials and textiles is a major source of indoor air pollution and linked to various illnesses and diseases.
• Designed and Built In The USA – We design and build our furniture in Southern California using local, legal labor, paid a living wage.
• Lifetime Warranty – We will repair or replace (at our option) any item we've made should it fail under normal, reasonable use.
